AC Milan plan talks this week with De Zerbi

Departing Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi is under consideration at AC Milan.

Stefano Pioli is expected to be moved on from Milan this summer.

And La Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan welcomes the news that De Zerbi has left Brighton.

The Italian giants now plan to open discussions with De Zerbi in the next few days.

De Zerbi has previously expressed that Milan, which he has supported since childhood, is a special club for him. He is also a former Milan youth teamer.

But it is still Paulo Fonseca, of Lille, who is best placed to land the Milan job at the moment.
